Belated Patchwork of Days

Outside my window...
Autumn clouds, they are meant to clear into another glorious Autumn day, we've just had a week of blue sky's and warm sun after frosts and cloud..one more maybe?

 I am listening to...
It's a slow morning, chores are being done quietly soft voices, subdued morning sounds for this morning it is perfect, the noise will come soon, just not yet.

 I am thankful for...
An awesome weekend with hubby's brother and his partner. Its the first time we have meet her, and we managed to spend the weekend kayaking, eating and sightseeing. We even finally went to the natural hot stream, only 11 years after we moved her

From the learning rooms...
Just starting a new ten week block, This week Dante, King Richard and the late middle ages. It feels busy, and yet I am reminded again how all of this fits together, interweaves and creates one whole. For that I am incredibly grateful to be on the path we have found.

From the kitchen...
Not much happening. After a weekend of good food, homemade Mexican- ok kiwi Mexican, and then Thai out well we are all rather slow on the dinner idea. Meanwhile I've started re-vamping my cookbook, fresh white typed pages, now I just have to keep typing up all those recipes hidden in food magazines that we use but have to find the right book for. Slowly we will get there.

I am reading.. Not much in the last two weeks but now we are back into it Dante's inferno, and Shakespeare.

A few plans for the rest of the week..
To survive the next two days, not a great start to the term, but 6 days of visitors in the last 10 days has left us all a little jaded, routines need to be reformed. Then we get Wednesday off, all of us home for ANZAC day, time to rest and regroup.

Here is picture thought I am sharing...
